New & Additional Waste Services

Wyong and Gosford Councils operate a domestic recycling and waste service for properties on the Central Coast. For the majority of residents this is a three bin system, consisting of a yellow bin for recycling, a green bin for garden vegetation and a smaller red bin for general waste, however there are variations of these bins to suit the wide diversity of residential areas within the Central Coast area.  

 
New Waste Services - If you are moving into a newly built house, you will need to organise a Waste Service for the property. Please note that bins will not be delivered to a vacant house.
To organise a waste service in the Gosford Council area the owner or managing agent of the property needs to fill out the appropriate Waste Services Request Form below. To organise a waste service in the Wyong Council area the owner or managing agent of the property needs to contact our customer service staff on 1300 126 278.

Additional Waste Services - If you are finding that your bins are constantly overflowing, for a small annual fee added to the Council Rates of the property, additional recycling, garden vegetation or general waste bins can be obtained. An upgrade to a larger red bin for general waste is also available.

Commercial & Industrial Premises - All commerical and industrial premises are eligable to receive the Councils waste service for an annual fee payable via the Council Rates of the premises.

Rental Properties - The owner of the property is responsible for requesting changes to the waste service of a property.
